On the eve it became known that the series “The Devil in the White City” based on the novel of the same name by Eric Larson is being prepared for release, and the main role in it will be played by none other than 57-year-old Keanu Reeves. For the actor, this will be a debut in a multi-part project, but an excellent team has gathered around him – producers Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, who must have conceived something big.
The plot is based on real events and tells about one of the first serial killers in American history, Henry Holmes, who cracked down on victims within the walls of a self-built hotel, as well as an ambitious architect, who will be played by Keanu Reeves. The action will take place in the scenery of the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago.
It is not yet known whether DiCaprio will participate in the project as an actor, because Scorsese, being his longtime friend, repeatedly gave Leo the main roles in his tapes, for example, “Shutter Island”, “The Wolf of Wall Street”, “The Departed” and “ Aviator”.
