End explained: what happens every time at the end of the Liars video first series?
Set on the island of Beachwood, the plot follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind), a young woman who was full of luxury and various secrets on a private island that belongs to her family. Every year, during the summer, she and her cousins, Johnny (Joseph Zada) and Mirren (Esther-Rose McGregor), meet Gat (Shubham Maheshwari), a friend of the trio, to live funny moments.
In summer 16, when he is 16 years old, Cadence has a serious accident and is out of memory. A year later, in summer 17, the young woman returns to the scene to discover the truth and has memories. However, he realizes that everyone hides something and runs to find out what happened in the past.
Initially, what is known is that Cadence was close to an explosion of the home of the complaint, which belonged to his grandfather.
Throughout history, it is clear that Cadence, Johnny, Mirren and Gat, who were the group called “Bugiardi”, are not happy with the current family situation and believe that the complaint is the great symbol of evil that has taken control of the Sinclair. So they decide to set fire and destroy the great home.
At the end of the series, we discovered that Cadence and his friends put into practice the plan to destroy complaints. But what nobody expected is that the fire would spread so quickly. The result of this was the death of Johnny, Mirren and Gat. Cadence fled because he was thrown into the sea after the explosion. The characters even tried to meet, but they couldn’t and only Cadence survived.
In summer 17, the three characters who were killed in the fire participated in the plot, how was it possible if they died? In fact, they were present in the form of ghosts. This is therefore one of Sinclair’s legacy. In the end, for example, it is shown how the tragedy made Carrie’s new, Johnny’s mother after years of recovering chemical dependence.
In addition, in the final scenes, Cadence talks to his grandfather, Harris, who claims to know what happened in the home. He says he is ready to drop the public arena and, in an interview, aims to dissipate the voices of a family curse – and to say who his successor will be.
Cadence also has a difficult choice: to stay under the protection of the family or reject your name and live away from your relatives. Choose the second option: steals the boat from Sinclair and leave.
