The mayor of Palmas, Eduardo Siquira Campos (Somos)was arrested by Federal Police (PF) On the morning of Friday 27, during the new phase of the Sisamnes operation, which investigates the sale of sentences in Superior Court of Justice (STJ).

In addition to the mayor, the arrest mandates were the civil police officer Marcos Albernaz and the lawyer Antonio Inowich Filho. Federal police also searched three addresses in the capital of Tocantin.

The investigation revealed evidence that the reserved information would have been accessible in advance, articulated and transmitted to investigation, with the involvement of public agents, lawyers and external operators.
