IRAPIN and Sumaré factories will strengthen the second production lap with admissions between September and October
Honda Automóveis do Brasil has started the process of taking 350 new employees for its factories in the State of San Paolo. The measure is part of the brand’s expansion plan, which includes the national production of the new WR-V since November 2025.
According to the company, 250 vacant places will be intended for the Irapin plant and 100 another to the Sumaré complex, where sectors such as painting, tools and engines are already operational. The goal is to complete the second production round, which has been partially active since 2024, and therefore increase the capacity of the 20% per year line.
Admissions begin in September with the training included
The selection process begins in July and the new contractors will be admitted between September and October. Before acting directly on the assembly, everyone will undergo a technical and safety training. The total activation of the second round is scheduled for December, which coincides with the WR-V nationalization program.
The new Honda WR-V will be produced for the first time in Brazil and is part of the brand’s investment plan, which total 4.2 billion dollars by 2030. This amount was announced in 2024 and includes, in addition to the reinforcement of the factories, the launch of hybrid technology flexible exclusively for the Brazilian market.
Currently, all the production of Honda cars in the country is performed in Irapin, which has centralized operations since 2022. Sumaré is still active in the production of strategic components and technical support to other units.
With the growth of demand and the arrival of new products, the car manufacturer strengthens its commitment to the national market. The expansion of the team and investments in local production show that Honda continues to bet strongly in Brazil.
