WARNING, THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES IT ALL BEGINS Monday night on TF1! If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read!
On Monday, August 8, it all starts here…
Salome returned to the Beaumont Hotel without Swan. While Teissier and Cardone try to find out where he is hiding, the young woman makes them believe that they had a fight, and she hasn’t been heard from since. As the elder Teisier is convinced that their dispute is related to Enzo’s aggression, Salome confirms that he is not her comrade’s aggressor, since they were together at the time of the facts. Despite everything, the two elders are convinced that he is deceiving them.
Back in the kitchen to practice, Salome receives a phone call. Seeing him avoid being picked up, Teysier and Enzo immediately knew it was Swann. While Enzo loses his temper, Salome retorts that she didn’t attack him, before accusing Chef Cardone of wanting revenge on the other for sabotaging his dessert during the third test. A hypothesis that doesn’t surprise Tessier, who knows his mentor isn’t the type to let that sort of thing happen.
Later, Salome finds Elliot, Greg, and Anais on the beach and tells them of her suspicions about Chief Cardon. To find out, they all agree to search Annabelle’s room during the day.
In turn, Teissier confronts Cardon, who insists that he doesn’t need revenge on Swann because he shot himself in the foot. According to him, you can’t beat a dish without the whole profession knowing it. So she will pay him without lifting a finger. However, Emmanuel doesn’t believe for a second that he would do it without the pleasure of hurting her. In his defense, Cardone replies that he came only for the pleasure of bringing him down and humiliating him.
At the same time, Greg and Anais search the chef’s room while Salome and Elliot take care of his car. In it, Salome finds a phone hidden in a spare tire. Reading the latest messages, the apprentices learn that it was indeed Cardon who sent threatening messages to Greg…
Mehdi and Hortense discovered in their Instagram story that Charlene and Louis were running the pop-up. Concerned, the two students try to learn more from Chef Armand. Unfortunately, the latter informs them that he has made a decision to take over the management of the ephemeral restaurant. According to him, Louis and Charlene have more experience, but above all better ideas to attract customers. Since they can’t find internships for this summer, Clotilda offers them to come and work with her at Double A, which they accept.
Not long ago, the pop-up was a huge success, and Louis and Charlene made more in one day than Mehdi and Hortense did after opening. To attract a few more subscribers, Charlene offers Louis a pop-up engagement announcement. While son Armaan thinks she said yes just to make noise, Charlene swears she didn’t. When Theo joins them, Charlene is quick to tell him that she is going to get married.
Once alone with Louis, Theo recalls that he made a deal with his father: to refuse to marry Charlene in exchange for his silence regarding her plans with Chef Cardone. That’s why he advises her to find a solution as soon as possible to cancel the engagement.
At breakfast, Tony visits Guillaume and Letitia to invite them to a coffee tasting at Table des Rivières. Since he doesn’t want to go there, the assistant principal makes him believe that he and his companion have an important meeting in the afternoon. A lie that clearly does not please Laetitia at all, who is already beginning to tire of his jealousy. Despite his reluctance, he therefore goes alone to the tasting, where the atmosphere is pleasant.
Returning home, Leticia learns from her daughter that Guillaume has packed his suitcase. Indeed, he left for a few days because he needed to be alone. The young woman tried to restrain him, but he preferred to leave to avoid an argument. Although she is not charmed by the situation, Laetitia does not intend to call him and hopes that the short distance will do him good.
