Actors Patrick J. Adams (“Suits”) and Troian Bellisario (“Pretty Little Liars”) will star together in the time travel series “Plan B”, developed by Canadian channel CBC.
The plot follows a man who discovers the possibility of time travel and uses that power to try to save his relationship, his law firm and his dysfunctional family. But he soon realizes that even the smallest change has repercussions on his life and that of others.
This won’t be the first time Adams and Bellisario have acted together on screen. She participated in the “Pretty Little Liars” series, as well as she participated in “Suits”. But they had never experienced fixed characters in the same attraction. On the big screen, however, they shared some short films and the feature film “Clara – Um Amor Além do Universo” (2018).
“Plan B” will also be Bellisario’s first starring role in a series since she finished “Pretty Little Liars” and gave birth to two daughters.
The production is an adaptation of the French series of the same name. The creators of the original, Jean-François Asselin and Jacques Drolet, are also developing this new version, together with screenwriter Lynne Kamm (“19-2”). The cast of the remake also includes Karine Vanasse (“Revenge”), François Arnaud (“Midnight Texas”) and Joshua Close (“Fargo”).
The series is expected to debut in 2023.
Patrick J. Adams will soon be seen in the drama “The Swearing Jar” and the thriller “He Went That Way”, both without a fixed preview date. Troian Bellisario has before him the comedy “Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins”, with no release date.
