The workers’ party invited the digital influencers on Wednesday 2, to strengthen the communication strategy of the new Lula administration. With the support of the Planalto Palace, the party summit brought about 270 content and supporters creators in a virtual meeting to encourage them to give gas to the “BBB Campaign” campaign (billionaires, banks and bets). Experts criticize the strategy and speak of “uncertain impact”.
The meeting has mainly collected PT influencer, many with little scope on the nets. In addition to the national secretary of communication, the deputy federal Jilmar Tatto (SP), the president of the party, the senator Humberto Costa (PE) and the Marketer Otávio Antunes, head of the BBB campaign.
Antunes explained that the strategy will be divided into phases. The first, already in progress, tries to attract attention to the topic and work the concept of justice. The second should invest in objective comparisons, such as demonstrating that Bolsa Familia, which includes millions of people, costs the state equal to the tax exemptions granted to a few farmers.
Tatto told the participants that the battle on social networks to defend the Lula administration in the Iof crisis means entering a “pre-campaign mode, because the country is polarized”. However, he said that the clash is not with the congress. The tone adopted by the leader contrasts with that of some government allies who, in the last few days, have started to publish messages on the networks with the hashtag “enemy of the popular congress”. Marco Aurélio De Carvalho, coordinator of the prerogatives, a group of pro -pt lawyers, was called by the Minister of Social Communication of the Government of Lula, Sidônio Palmeira, to participate in the meeting and offer legal advice in the communication of influencers. He suggested precautions on digital platforms, so as not to slander, defame or hurt anyone and avoid processes.
“We have to thank Hugo Motta, because he shocked us all. He allowed us to react, to clarify the project we defend,” said Carvalho, in reference to the fact that the mayor has governed the reversal of the AIF.
The lawyer proposed that the PT constitutes a legal team to advise digital communicators “who could have judicial questions”. The speech against privileges and economic power has encouraged the surrounding environment after a good repercussion on social networks, a territory dominated by pockets and the new strategy is already in the testing phase with their eyes transformed at 2026. The experts, however, have difficulty obtaining traction.

For political marketing experts, the new PT strategy could even work on social networks, but there are doubts if it will have a real impact on the electorate and translates into popularity in lula.
“The motto of the 2022 campaign was to improve the cost of living – and this is not happening on the tip. I have doubts that this rich discourse against the poor paste. Where is the materiality of all this? Poor life is not improving, the cost of living has increased, safety is bad, health is precarious.
The strategist Felipe Soutello, who coordinated the campaign of Simone Tebet (MDB) to the presidency in 2022, says that the dialogues of the lace reform proposal with the history of PT and the Lula campaign promise to “put the poor in the budget”. The problem, he said, is in the way the government and the party communicated the theme.
“The government needs an agenda – it is not new. And the idea of making those who earn the most taxes is universal. But this discourse of poor against the rich, class struggle, over time. Prosperity, from entrepreneurship, of the class struggle,” he says.
For Soutello, the government would have more strength if this speech was combined with measures to cut concrete expenditure. “I would be able to dialogue with the population better and report the central voter who is doing the tasks with tax adaptation”. The strategist still criticizes the videos of the “BBB taxation” campaign made with artificial intelligence. “Public policies are made for people. Why not bring people to testimony? The only aims at the performance of the network is unable to generate empathy and intimacy beyond the bubble”, he asks.
