Declarations of the managers and behind the scenes of production

And more than that, it has the possibility to return, again, the love that people have for the series.
Haná Vaisman, director of the Netflix Brazil fiction, underlined the meaning of the renewal: “Following in these complex narrative universes is also a way to strengthen our commitment for Brazilian audiovisual and our encouragement to the stories that grow together with the public”.

No preview of the debut for new episodes
Despite the official confirmation of the continuation of the plot, the release date of the new phase has not yet been issued. The expectation, however, is that the new episodes maintain the intense tone and disputes between police and criminal factions, as indicated by the closure of last season.
The plot, which mixes the police drama and the suspense elements inspired by real facts, has already shown its breath to expand, supporting itself from its agile rhythm and from the atmosphere based on real investigations. Netflix did not say if there will be changes in the main cast or in the technical team.
National Ascension production
The series reaffirms the bet on the Brazilian with the export potential. Currently, DNA crime symbolizes one of the main windows of national narrative in the catalog of the international streaming service. In fact, according to the same company, the renewal represents “a great result with the public and our partners”.
Produced entirely in Brazil, the work mixes the action, the investigations and the social drama, reaching large repercussions. As a consequence of its positive repercussion, the renewal was celebrated by the creative community and by the managers involved in the project.
