Yellowstone: After 1883, another predecessor of the West Series arrived on Netflix!

The third Yellowstone series joins Netflix. Last March, the platform posted the first four seasons of the Western series on the Internet, worn by Kevin Costner, as well as its mini series in advance in 1883. The two programs were very successful with subscribers and remained in the top 10 of Netflix Series for several weeks in a row.

It was announced that the second presentation of the Yellowstone titled 1923 will be available on the platform from the following July. Only the first season of the program will be offered. The series features Jakob Dutton (Harrison Ford), the brother of James Dutton, who was a protagonist of 1883 but did not appear in this new production.

The future of Yellowstone was already threatened in 1923

Without a child, an old man is preparing to provide inheritance, to reject the ranch to the nephews. But the rival’s attack is worth the life of John Dutton (which we saw as a child in the mini series of 1883) and Jacob was seriously injured.

His wife Cara (Helen Miren) then gave them a younger nephew Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) to ask him to join as fast as Montana because he lives in Africa. But in 1923, such a trip time demanded and many fatal threats would come to the road of a young man …

The most expensive yellowstone series

1923 is one of the most expensive series with a budget of about $ 30 million per episode. The greatest value, which is especially explained by the XXL salary of its stars ($ 1 million per episode for Harrison Ford and Helen Miren), but also its filming in several African teams.

Arriving on Netflix on the day of 1923 allows the Yellowstone franchise to gather almost completely on the platform. Only the last season in the main series is missing, and the second season of 1923 is broadcasting at the beginning of the year: both are now exclusively at Paramount+.
