The 50% rate on the products of the Brazilian president promised by the President of the United States Donald Trump in response to the “persecution” against the former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has mobilized social networks and could frustrate the strategy of pockets for the press powers for the benefit of the former executive garment.
The investigation of analysts on the monitoring of social networks Pedro Bargiela shows that 78% of the mentions of Crisis Express’s repudiation of the taxation of Brazilian products and performance of the Bolsonaro family, in particular that of the authorized Federal Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP).
Son of the former president, the authorized parliamentarian moved to the United States in February in search of sanctions against the Brazilian authorities to help his father, accused for the coup d’état in the Supreme Court (Stf).
Only 12% of the mentions express support for the President of the United States. More than 35,000 comments have been analyzed in the profiles of the print portals on social networks. The strategy is used to remove pocket niches or governors, who tend to collect only supporters.
“It is possible to say that the pocket perspective of the episode, which provides for the defense of the” collective punishment “in response to the impunity of an individual (Jair Bolsonaro) did not generate the catharsis envisaged on the networks, on the contrary,” said Bariela.
The analysis has grouped the most approached themes in the comments and concluded that 29% of them mention the principle of reciprocity, highlights national sovereignty and Brazil’s right to take revenge on the tariff threat.
Another 24% attribute to the allies of Bolsonaro the responsibility of taxation, accusing the family of the former president of the “anti -prowess” and also criticizes PL parliamentarians to support US resolutions.
According to the analysis, 21% of the comments use personal attacks in Trump to criticize the republican measure and terms such as “Patriots” and “Mutt” were used to talk about the position of Brazilian law in favor of taxation. There were 16% of the mentions that highlight concern for the economic risks of the measures and 10% considered that the government of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) shows force in the episode.
As shown on the EstadãoWhile the right -wing politicians went to support the decision of the President of the United States, blaming Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme and the Lula Administration, the governors accuse the inconsistency of the “patriotic” pockets to defend the economic sanctions against their country.
