The streaming market is increasingly fierce. Several companies in the sector contest the preference of users and the launch of original films and series was a differential when the public is attracted.
This is exactly what Guy of entertainment strategyA newsletter focused on corporate strategy and on the analysis of the entertainment sector. According to the survey, Netflix is losing space for rivals.
The survey compares the results of the main streaming platforms between 2021 and 2025. In them, the evolution of other companies is clear, while the Netflix domain shows clear signs of weakening.
It is important to underline that the research does not take into account the number of subscribers. What is analyzed is the number of new original titles made available by each streaming platform in the period in question.

In addition to Netflix, the list of Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Max, Hulu and Peacock appears in the list. The last two are the American streaming services that are not yet available in Brazil.
