The judge Angelica Chamon Layoun, shot by the Court of Justice Rio Grande do on (TJ-GRS), has been accused of using a standard text in over 2,000 decisions and also of discovering the processes already considered inflating their productivity.
In a press release, Angelica’s defense ranked punishment as disproportionate. Lawyers also said that the previous judgment is the mother of a child with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).
“The conciliation between functional duties and the care of a child with special needs represents a further challenge that any magistrate mother can understand,” they wrote.
The defense of the judge said that the unit in which Angelica worked was “disorganized” and that it was assigned to a stick that had been without judge for years. According to its representatives, a request for disciplinary review will be submitted in National Council of Justice (CNJ)To find out if the punishment was due.
The dismissal is the most serious punishment that a judge can receive. Other more common alternatives are the warning, censorship, removal, availability and compulsory pension, when the magistrate stops working, but continues to receive salaries.
