Assassin’s Creed will win a series of live-action on Netflix

Netflix confirmed the production of a series of live-action inspired by Assassin’s CreedUbisoft’s renowned franchise.

The project, in the development phase since 2020, has been subjected to different reformations until it gets a definitive green light. The streaming giant promises an adaptation with the “rich narrative” that fans of the game expect.

The franchise had already gained a representation of live action in cinemas, with the film “Assassin’s Creed“2016, who played Michael Fassbender on the main role, as well as famous names of cast casts such as Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.

The game franchise is successful globally

Launched in 2007, Assassin’s Creed Has sold over 230 million units. The Netflix series adds productions based on other games, such as Castlevania, Arcane, Resident Evil and the long -awaited film Bioshock.

Ubisoft also participates in the production with the managers of the company’s film and TV division, including Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin and Austin Dill. The debut date has not yet been released.
