Jacques is in critical condition

Miriam is still angry with Elizabeth for filing a complaint against Jacques without asking her opinion. The latter tries to ease the tension and urges him to forget about this story. As they begin work, Miriam receives a call from Marc that Jacques has been in a car accident.

At the hospital, Dr. Louis tells Louis, Leonor, and Mark that Jacques has suffered a severe head injury and is bleeding internally. A hard blow to Mark calling Miriam. Although he apologizes to his father, Mark believes that the indictment did not help. She said her father was fragile when she filed the complaint against him. For her part, Miriam asks him not to force her to take responsibility, then reminds her that it is L. Cosmétiques that is the basis of this complaint. However, Marc can’t get it out of his mind that without it, Jacques wouldn’t be where he is today.

Later, Mark is called to the police station, where Elise tells him that his father’s accident happened under a bridge and that there was no other car. So there are no witnesses. According to the medical report, there are no traces of alcohol, drugs or medicine. There was also no cerebral or cardiac discomfort. Since nothing seems to change his abilities, the policeman believes that Jacques attempted suicide.

Not far from there, Louis forces his mother to listen to a message that his grandfather abandoned him before the accident and in which he begs for forgiveness. An angry Louis thinks it’s all Miriam’s fault. If he hadn’t filed a complaint, all of this would never have happened.

Although he doesn’t want to, the teenager returns to his father’s house anyway, then criticizes Mark and Miriam for causing his grandfather’s accident. He then says he hates them and goes so far as to hope they never have children. After taking the things, he leaves the house.

Claudine goes to the scene of Blamont’s accident and questions passers-by and local shopkeepers. After doing a little investigating, the lawyer goes to Maitre Levars and claims he has the testimony of someone who saw Blamon fall down the stairs on the morning of his alleged accident. He then explains that he spoke to the hotel manager who revealed some interesting things to him and that he will be able to testify in front of the judge that Blamont was never hit by Allen’s car.

On her way out of the office, Claudine calls Allen and advises her to file a complaint against Blamont for perjury and attempted fraud. According to him, this is the only solution to intimidate the opposing side. Therefore, they arranged a meeting in the evening to discuss this.

In turn, Serge goes to the camp and accuses his client of lying to Dr. Alfandi. Angered, she makes him realize that she will have to ask for reconciliation or he will make Doctor Alphand pay.

At the police station, Allen talks to Elizabeth and tells her that Claudine is recommending that she file a complaint. Although the businessman thinks this is useless, Allen thinks this is the strategy he must adopt if he wants to end this story quickly. Only Elizabeth understood Claudine’s little game. If she trusts the man she loves, this is definitely not the case with the lawyer. As soon as the couple finishes arguing, he gets annoyed and then breaks up.

At the same time, Claudine tells Alix that she’s having a drink with Allen that evening and gives herself three weeks to convince herself that she’s an extraordinary woman.

At the end of the day, Allen and Claudine are at a bar, making out with each other instead of talking about business. The doctor is having such a good time, he forgets the time and comes home late. And as much as it should be said, Elizabeth is not bewitched.
