After 27 years less, the painting “Porta from Hope” will surely return to the SBT grid. The attraction, marked with exciting moments and by the realization of the spectators’ dreams, will join the Silvio Santos program, currently presented by Patrícia Abravanel. The new debut in the phase next Sunday (27) and will be transmitted monthly.
Conceived by Silvio Santos in 1984, the painting was born as a special for the holidays, but has gained a fixed space in programming since 1985. For over a decade, until 1997, the “Hope door” responded to thousands of various orders – from wheelchairs to travel, prostheses, vehicles and requests for improvements to improvisers in the communities.
Previously, SBT even tested the return of the card with thematic editions. In 2024, the station bet on special versions aimed at children, broadcast the day and Christmas for children, with the title “Portinha da Esperança”. The positive experience on these commemorative dates was decisive for the decision to reincorand the format to the programming in a recurring way.
Currently, those who are interested in participating should send a video on YouTube, telling their story and explaining why they want to see their dream become reality. If selected, they will be invited to the stage to talk to Patrícia Abravanel, who ran on Sunday from 2022.
The presenter even commented on expectations in the face of the new image phase. According to her, the proposal keeps the essence of the solidarity of television alive: “We again open the doors of hope for many people, with stories that touch the heart and show the strength of faith and perseverance”.
In addition, the program will try to repeat the recent success of other classic attractions. The “Million Show”, also reformulated and presented by Patricia, obtained good public brands in 2024, also exceeding Globo in a few hours on Sunday.
The image is again a central piece in the channel that plans on Sunday at night, in a moment of reaffirmation of the editorial line based on the inheritance of Silvio Santos. The channel, now managed by the communicator’s daughters, continues to save consecrated formats that have marked generations.
Finally, the reasons for “Porta da Hope” are scheduled for 19:00 (Brasilia Time) at SBT. The monthly display indicates a bet on content with emotional and nostalgic appeal, focusing on the direct participation of the public.
