Actor Joe Keery will temporarily swap Hawkins, Indiana, with Fargo, North Dakota. Steve’s star in “Stranger Things” has been confirmed in the cast of the 5th season of the “Fargo” series, by pay channel FX.
He will play a character named Gator Tillman, but information is scarce at the moment. With an anthology format, “Fargo” brings a new crime story and a different cast each season. And the main clue about the new episodes was unveiled last February, when the production was confirmed with a description in the form of questions: “When a kidnapping is not a kidnapping, what if your wife is not your wife?”.
Keery joins a large cast, which had previously confirmed the participation of Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Juno Temple (“Ted Lasso”) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (“The Hateful Eight”), and has now also announced Lamorne. Morris (“New Girl”) and Richa Moorjani (“I Never …”).
Filming is expected to begin in a few weeks and there is no release date for the new episodes yet.
