Andy Serkis will make a series about the museum’s creator Madame Tussaud





Actor / director Andy Serkis (“Venom: A Time for Carnage”) will direct the series “Madame!”, About the life of Marie Tussaud, the visionary French artist known for her wax sculptures, hence the famous Madame museum Tussaud gets its name.

The series will follow the life of Marie Tussaud from Paris in the 18th century, during the Enlightenment, through the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror, until her trip to England, where she opened her famous museum, dedicated to wax statues. of celebrities, which has become a true franchise, currently with more than 20 units worldwide.

“This isn’t a conventional costume drama, it’s hilarious, limitless, anarchist and punk madness,” said Serkis. “Marie knew one thing very clearly: if you’re going to tell your life story, make it fun, even if you have to make it up, and whatever happens, cut out the boring parts.”

In addition to directing, Serkis will also serve as the showrunner for the attraction, which does not yet have a set release date.

Andy Serkis is currently involved in the third film in the “Venom” franchise and the adaptation of the literary classic “Animal Farm”. Both projects don’t have a preview date yet.
