Inter Miami announces the assumption of Paul’s loan

The Argentine midfielder arrives on loan until the end of the MLS season, with a purchase option valid until 2029

In search of a more competitive cast and to keep Lionel put to the club after the end of the contract, Inter Miami officially hired Rodrigo de Paul on Friday. On 31 -year -old, which was in Atletico Madrid, brought on loan until the end of the current season of the Major League Soccer (MLS), with the possibility of definitive purchase by 2029.

Messi’s partner in the successes of Copa America and the World Cup, Paul joins the group led by Gerardo Martino. He joins heavy names such as Suárez, Jordi Alba and Busquets. In his presentation, the Argentine player highlighted the ambition of the new challenge.

“What leads me to Inter Miami is the desire to compete, winning titles (…) is a club that is preparing to be great, to have a long story,” he said.

The player is already in the United States and awaits the release of his work visa to debut. The official presentation to the fan is scheduled for this Saturday (26), before the match against Cincinnati at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
