Infinity Stones Weren’t In Marvel’s Plans At The Beginning Of The MCU, Reveals James Gunn

In the first two phases of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the public was introduced to the cosmic artifacts known as Infinity Gemswhich were extremely important for the franchise until Avengers: Endgame (2019). However, according to the director James Gunnthey were not in the initial plans of the marvel studios.

Previously, Gunn explained how he had the complete trilogy of Guardians of the Galaxy mapped in his head while working on the first team galactic movie, and a fan asked if that meant he knew the plan of the Marvel for Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Ultimatum.

In response, the filmmaker revealed how not only did he not know, but Kevin Feigepresident of marvel studiosdid not decide to incorporate the Infinity Gems until after finishing the first draft of Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).

Do the Infinity Stones have value in MCU Phase 4? Theory says yes
