The Brazilian pilot conquers its best position in F1
Gabriel Bortoleto continues to make the story in his first season for Formula 1. This weekend, at the Hungary GP, the Brazilian pilot has gained the best position of his career in the worldw’s world of car races, finishing the race in sixth place.
In addition to reaching the best career brand, the Sauber pilot has reached the best position of a Brazilian in F1 from Felipe Massa in the Bahrain 2017 GP. With the company, Bortoleto added eight points to the table, occupying 17th place in the general classification, with 14 points in total.
He bets on the strategy, the Brazilian started in seventh position, passed the walk and managed to hold back the positioning, even with the events in the pits. “It was a very crazy race, but after stabilizing there, I managed to put my rhythm without anyone disturbing me in front. It was an extraordinary race and I had a lot of fun. Sesto, I don’t think that even dreaming at the beginning of the season, I guess we could fight for this type of position,” said Bortoleto with a band.
