The large Egyptian museum (Gem) of Cairo confirmed its opening date: November 1st. The announcement “of the largest, complete and futuristic Egyptian Museum of all time” was made on Wednesday (6) by the Prime Minister of the country, Mostafa Madbouly, after the approval of the president, Abdel Fattoh al-Sisi.

“The inauguration of the Gemma has been prepared to be exceptional, which is added to a series of important national events relating to the modern history of Egypt,” Madbouly anticipated.

Among the treasures to be expressed in the new unit there is the mask of Tutankhamon, which will leave the Egyptian museum in Tahrir Square, to shine in the new headquarters, which has been built in pyramid training sections next to the true pyramids of Giza, which will be linked by a passage.

Precisely at the entrance of the Gemma, which is currently partially visible, gigantic statues, such as those of the Faraone Ramses II, 12 meters high and 83 tons of granite, receive the public for an unforgettable visit. .
