On Wednesday, August 10, it all starts here…
Noeme was interviewed by the police and gave all the information about her abductor. Although he never saw the head of his captor, Chief Matre is convinced that it was a man, thus vindicating Chief Cardon. In fact, Enzo concludes that Swann is definitely guilty.
When Eliot, Enzo and Salome advise the Chief Matre to go and rest, the latter refuses because every time he closes his eyes he thinks about everything that has happened to him. To clear her mind, Noemi goes to the kitchen, but tries to concentrate until she bursts into tears. In the next moment, chefs Delobel and Teissier arrive. They wanted him to stop playing the warrior, but Noem, who feels good in the kitchen, still wants to continue competing. Although they don’t think it’s a good idea, they agree to take it.
Later, Salome joins Naomi in the kitchen hoping to learn more about her captivity. According to his recollections, the cellar in which he was kept smelled of confectionary, and more specifically of green mandarin essential oil.
Salome then finds Swan by the pool, but they are interrupted by Chief Cardone, who has just been released from police custody. Indeed, Annabelle had an alibi for Enzo’s attack, the danger signs on the wall or Greg’s strangulation. Therefore he is innocent. Convinced that someone is out to beat him, he’s more determined than ever to win a championship with Swann.
In the afternoon, Salome and Swan walk hand in hand in the gardens of the Hotel Beaumont. Seeing them, Enzo gets carried away and tries to eavesdrop on Salome discussing Swan’s true nature. However, he firmly believes in the arrangement and is fiercely protective of his girlfriend.
Back in the kitchen, Salome immediately smells the essential oil of green mandarin. He then explains to Anais that the man who kidnapped Noem used her to make pastries. Immediately, the two young women discuss the schedule and are surprised to discover that the person who was cooking earlier is none other than Swan.
Although Clotilda is still angry, Joachim gets up early to go to Nîmes to buy equipment. While he is fixing the steam oven, Chef Armand joins him and tells him that it is a bit childish to darken it again. Since the young man thinks that what he talked to her the other day is not normal, Clotilda declares that she is always quick and direct with everyone when she is in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the couple ends up arguing again.
Later, Joachim and Clotilda were called to the principal’s office for a little clarification. Indeed, the day before, their confusion had already gone around the institute. When Clotilda insists that the matter is settled, Joachim says that they should stop working together to make things easier for everyone. Seeing the tone rise, Antoine intervenes and encourages them to put their egos aside without yelling or drama. And let’s add that if this continues, Joakim will not be able to stay.
Finally, Joachim and Clotilda make peace. After apologizing to each other, they decide to set some rules so that things don’t get mixed up. Joachim then promises that she will be his top priority if he encounters a problem during his service. For her part, Clotilde makes sure not to add stress to stress. They kiss immediately.
Mr. Kaplan meets Tony, Gaetan and Letitia at Table des Rivières to learn more about the two young men’s project. Taking matters into her own hands, Laetitia tricks the click-and-collect owner into believing that her friend is a former graduate student at the Auguste Armani Institute. Tony, getting on his game, explains that he wants to cook without the fuss: zucchini fritters, tempura, croque-monsieur. He may like the idea, but Mr. Kaplan still wants to taste his dishes before making a decision.
After a while, Tony and Gaitan enter the kitchen and say that defeat is bitter. As the croque-monsieur burns, Gaëtan scrapes the top with a knife and adds a little cream to make it edible. When Mr. Kaplan points out that it tastes a little burnt, Tony insists that it’s a hot trend in Finland. Sure enough, Mr. Kaplan agrees that Tony and Gatani will take over the click and collect.
