Kevin goes to the police station to say goodbye to Camille, who is about to go to the intensive care unit. The nurses had to sedate her and she is not in a normal state.

On the other hand, Baptiste went to see Matthias to see his parents and used the opportunity to visit Emma. It’s time for peace. The Baptist understands his wife’s sadness. Emma then confides in him that Jacob buried Caesar alive.

Baptiste apologizes for not listening to him when he told him about his concerns about the young man. Emma also apologizes for ignoring her suspicions about Camille. Emma then explains to him that her sister left the police station and was committed to a mental hospital.

To get some rest, Baptiste offers to babysit Matisse, but he refuses. Emma explains to him that it feels good to stay with her son.

When she returns to her apartment, Leticia finds Kevin on the couch reading Camille’s diary. She confides in her mother that she thought she could save Emma’s little sister and free her from Jacob.

He tries to calm her down by explaining that there was nothing anyone could do to help her. Kevin also confesses to his mother that he feels guilty for not seeing anything and coming to Camille. Laetitia urges him to go ahead and step aside. But Kevin refuses to listen to her advice.

Later that day, Kevin and Baptiste team up to stop Burner. They talk together about Caesar’s disappearance and cannot talk about it in the past. The young policeman is still struggling to understand how Camille could be Jacob’s accomplice.

While they are in the middle of their conversation, Kevin and Baptiste hear a noise and startle the fire victim into action. They manage to catch him, but a fire breaks out, forcing Baptiste to intervene. He then asks Kevin to keep an eye on the suspect, but as he goes, the fireman manages to escape. The policeman who arrests the criminal does not react and lets him go.

Myrta finally decided to replace Nelson and do firefighting work with Father Luke. He goes to see Claire at the Mistral Bar because they have food to give away. Back in the present, Luna hints at the beauty of the priestess, who has a knack for annoying Myrta. Claire then offers to help with the distribution, but he graciously declines her offer.

A few hours later in Zephyr, Nelson, Mirta and Father Luke collect food from the hotel for disaster victims, much to the surprise of the latter, who doesn’t notice the growing solidarity in the neighborhood. Myrtle is a good color in his eyes.

Nelson gives him a reason, because Sexigen not only gave him a roof, it also gave him back his human dignity. The former homeless father then offers Luke a haircut for Mirta, which he happily accepts.

During their tete à tete, the young man reveals several confidences about his profession. He explains to Myrta that he has always had faith, but that following orders was beyond his strength. Forcing himself to live like everyone else, he became unhappy and depressed while attending business school. This was the trigger. Then he entered the seminary.

After finishing the cutting, Father Luc and Mirta decide to go for a walk in Marseilles. The young man takes the opportunity to offer his new friend a rosary that he bought during a pilgrimage to Bethlehem. Mirta admits to him that her life has changed since they met, she has found meaning. Father Luke is very upset. He then returns a lock of Mirta’s hair. Concerned, the two friends leave in a hurry.

Vidal is worried that Vanessa doesn’t understand and leaves her a message on the answering machine. He asks himself a thousand and one questions. Silvia thinks that if Vanessa refused to invite her home, it is because she is already in a relationship. To find out for sure, the waitress goes to Vanessa’s house to do her little investigation.

She then meets a postman on the street and makes him believe that her name is Bridget Fontaine and that she has been hired to take the census. She pretends to have forgotten her list and even goes so far as to flirt with the young man. Thus, Silvia discovers that Vanessa lives with her father. He immediately calls Romain to tell him the good news.

In turn, Emily went jogging with Etienne. Back at Mistral, they meet Blanche and the young woman makes an introduction. Blanche has the feeling that she has already seen Etienne somewhere. Uncomfortable, the young man changes the conversation when Emily points out her father, who also seemed to know her. Then it pretends to be hot and needs to cool down. Emily invites him to shower with her roommate.

Once in the apartment, Emil came across Seneca’s book, which Etienne had in his bag. The young man explains to her that he is in a graduate program in philosophy and then reads a passage that he adores. Fascinated, Emily makes the first move and kisses him.

Meanwhile, Romain meets Vanessa at the Place du Mistral. He apologizes for not giving her the news. He tells her how much he missed her. She then tells him that if she didn’t want him to come and have a last drink at her house, it’s because she’s hosting her ex, who’s going through a tough time.
