Gramado Film Festival will reward the films generated by IA

The Gramado Film Festival is one of the most important in Brazil. Held in Serra Gaucha, acts as a showcase for the national film industry, with competitive characteristics of films and short films, as well as honors to the great names of performance.

This year the event takes place until 23 August. And the 53rd edition already has a place held in history. This is because, for the first time, films generated by the use of artificial intelligence will be assigned.

In total, 52 works were recorded in the new category, but only four have been selected for the Festival. I am: Colddirected by Mr.Press, Inheritance under the wheelby Gabriel Panazio, The signs on the wallsdirected by Marcio Toson e Before kisswho is directed by Leandro Corinth.

All films can be watched online in Festival website. There will still be a face -to -face session on 22, at 14 hours, at the Elisabeth Rosenfeld theater. A popular vote, also held on the event website, will decide who takes the prize.

Unlike regular shows, the prizes do not happen in Kikitos, the traditional trophies of the Gramado Film Festival. The winner will receive a $ 20,000 budget in a post-production company.
