Father Luke agrees with her, specifying that she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. He also confides in her that Mirta worries about him as a man. After their paths crossed, his feelings only grew. For Nelson, there is no doubt that he fell in love with her.
At the Mistral Bar, Yolande runs into Mirta, lost in thought. She tries to find out more about her mystery man. The sexagenarian then reveals to his friend that this man is younger than him. Yolande doesn’t see where the problem is and convinces Mirta to get out.
A few hours later, Mirta goes to the church to talk to Father Luke. The young man takes the opportunity to confide in her that he has feelings for her. He tells her that he has loved her since the day they met. An incredulous Myrta can’t bring herself to tell him that it’s mutual and leaves the church in a hurry.
Eric is nervous. After a fire hazard and a psychopathic neighbor, she now has to deal with Simon’s ex out of nowhere. Simon explains to the ex-cop that he couldn’t kick him out because he took over the farm, he helped a lot. They lived together for six months.

A little later, the ex-cop shows Simon a gun he bought on the black market so that his companion can defend himself if Mallard comes and threatens them. But Simon hates violence and rebellion.
