Buses, Passinhos and Floor: new nostalgia from the appearance to Porto Alegre

The story of the new appearance, symbol of the night port-artegns

At the beginning of the 80s and 90s, when the night of Porto Alegre was even less diversified today, the new appearance became a meeting place for young people from different regions of the city. Those who lived at the time remember well: the T2 and T5 buses arrived at the terminal near Bela Beach, transporting entire groups of Gloria, Mediaeira, Vila Cruzeiro, Santa Teresa and many other neighborhoods. Many landed at the last time and returned home only at dawn, after an intense night of music, dance, flirting and friendship.

The climate inside the nightclub mixes energy, diversity and respect. On the track, the famous “Little Pastures” were accompanied by a repertoire that moved between the trends of the time – from pop to charm, crossing electronic rhythms that announced a new era in the night scene of the night. For many, it was there that young people found his tribe and built memories that they still remained alive.

According to Dario Hernandez, who spoke with Porto Alegre 24 Ore, the first phase began on April 6, 1978, when he was still called Weeder Glass. Shortly thereafter, in 1979, the Chamber adopted the new name, remaining active until June 2000, when it decidedly decided.

Even with the closure, the memory has not come out. Currently, many visitors of that time keep memory in life in the retro parties organized in the clubs of the city and in virtual communities, especially in the Facebook groups that bring together thousands of people who once lived at dawn.

For those who are about 40 years old today, it recalls that a new aspect is like revisiting an unforgettable phase of youth, where freedom, music and meetings have marked an entire generation.
