On Wednesday Russia said that attempts to solve the safety problems related to Ukraine without Moscow’s participation are a “way for nothing”.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made the comments two days after the president of the United States Donald Trump received the president of Ukraine and European leaders for the security guarantees for Ukraine who could help to end the war.
“We cannot agree with the fact that it is now proposed to solve security, collective security problems without the Russian Federation. It won’t work,” Lavrov said.
“I am sure that the West and, above all, the United States perfectly understand that security problems seriously discuss without the Russian Federation being a utopia, be a way for nothing.”
