TOMORROW BELONGS TO US: ‘I KNEW CEDRIC WOULD DIE’ … Julien Cheminad reacts to his character’s tragic end.

Days follow each other, but it’s not like tomorrow is ours. It must be said that the city of Seth has been the scene of drama sequences for several weeks now. These events, unfortunately, caused casualties there.

Cedric Diallo (Julien Cheminade) was found unconscious and rushed to St. Clair Hospital in critical condition. The nurse, who was then in a coma, had very little chance of waking up. With a glimmer of hope still alive, the father of Angie (Louise Marion), Jahia (Nastasia Carrouge) and Lilian (Sylvain Le Gal) breathed his last on Wednesday 10 August.

A year after joining the TF1 series, the nurse in the shoes of Cédric Diallo, Julien Cheminade, his translator, therefore leaves tomorrow belongs to us. In an interview with the magazine tele-vacationThe actor talked about the death of the character and his departure from the series.

I didn’t expect that at all,” he explains before continuing, “Production called us at the end of March and told us that Cedric was going to die. They introduced too many new characters last year and they had to find a solution. I knew Cedric would die, but not exactly how he would“.

If the actor finds that the death of his character was the best way to leave the show, on the other hand, he regrets that Cedric could not address the ghosts of his loved ones, especially since he leaves even when there were even three children behind him, as well as Nur (Sahelle De Figueiredo), with whom he had a brief love affair.

In the rest of the interview, Julien Cheminade talks about shooting his last scene and this particularly emotional day. By his own admission, “There was a lot of emotion, especially the last scene with Cedric, his heart not responding to the defibrillator. It was very strange because I was clearly not in a coma, I could feel everything and I had to control myself, especially not to react when I felt a surge of emotion. Life is a funny experience“.

And the actor concludes:When I saw that I would have a day and a half of filming in a coma, I told myself that it would be a long time. And actually, it takes a lot of concentration because you don’t realize how active you can be in life. We are constantly moving. So it was actually very intense“.

The actor will end up with “very good memories” from this experience and would love to find the whole team, why not in the place of Cedric’s twin brother.

Before finally closing this chapter of his career, Julien Cheminad also spoke on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 on social networks and in particular in an Instagram post accompanied by numerous photos from the shoot.

Thanking TF1, the producers, technical teams and its gaming partners, he sent a short message to his fans. And of course everyone who follows on a daily basis. Thank you for your many messages that have been with me throughout. I was very lucky with all this, it was a very good year!! Other adventures await me…“.

A message left by Sahelle de Figueiredo, Noor’s translator, was not returned. “My Julien Boute-en-train… I was really lucky to have a girlfriend!!! I really hope Juju and Sasa get to enjoy getting back together !!”.

Of course, that’s all we want.
