The latest rumor, which sounds more and more strongly, suggests that Cavill will be the protagonist of highlander, by Chad Stahelski, a remake of the popular saga of The immortals.
In a recent interview, Stahelski explained that the Highlander team is “closer than ever” to reviving the franchise born in the ’80s, with Cavill at the helm. “We’re in the process of adjusting right now. I think we know what we want. And we know what we want to do. It’s just a matter of getting to the point where you’re like, ‘Okay, this is it. Let’s go. But we’re closer than ever, so that’s good.”
