ViX+ will have new content
ViX+ not only has critically acclaimed Mexican animated films, but among its content it also has original productions designed for every member of the family.
In addition to “La mujer del diablo,” “María Félix: La Doña” and “Enfermo Amor,” the world’s largest Spanish-language streaming platform is creating new series and movies for its audience. This was announced by Rodrigo Mazón, Executive Vice President and General Manager of ViX+:

‘Crash’ in ViX+
Produced by Perro Azul, “Colapso” will be the Mexican adaptation of the dystopian French miniseries “L’Effondrement,” which was nominated for an International Emmy Award.
It will tell, through the perspective of various characters, what would happen if all systems, including technological, political and economic, collapsed.
“Isla brava” on ViX+
In “Isla brava” you can see the story of Lucía, a woman who has an affair with her husband’s younger brother. Just as she is about to confess to him, Alfredo, her husband, disappears.
Little by little, various family secrets will begin to come to light, so Lucia must protect both herself and her children.
“Forbidden Path” in ViX+
In case you don’t remember, “Forbidden Path” was the first telenovela in the history of Televisa and now ViX+ is preparing a modern version. It will be in charge of Giselle González, a producer known for her work in other projects such as “Cuna de lobos” or “Empire of lies”.
Her story will follow Nora, whose ambition will lead her to destroy her family in order to pursue a life of luxury. She will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, such as manipulating various men with her beauty.
‘Absolute’ in ViX+
At ViX + sports are also a priority. Suffice it to say that the platform has full coverage of UEFA Champions League, Europe League and Conference League matches.
However, the content for sports fans does not end there, as ViX+ will premiere a documentary film about the Spanish football team.
The production will focus on the story of Iker Casillas and Xavi Hernández, who joined the best players of their generation to make history. It will be directed by Jorge Laplace and will feature the main stars of the Spanish soccer team.
Jenni Rivera’s movie on ViX+
ViX+ will premiere a biopic of Jenni Rivera, recounting the events that led the singer to become one of the biggest references in the Mexican region.
Gigi Saul Guerrero will be in charge of directing this film, which will be produced by Mucho Más Media and De Line Pictures.
