The Ipiranga Mogi hospital celebrates 63 years of existence


Since the beginning of the activities, the unit has served the entire population of the city and the nearby regions. Ipiranga Mogi was also subjected to renovation, infrastructure and expanded services, as well as Team Technical Training

Officially inaugurated on August 13, 1962, the Ipiranga hospital, in Mogi Das Cruzes (SP), turns 63. To celebrate the date, a musical presentation with the military police band for health professionals and for patients present in the unit was performed.




With a repertoire of Brazilian musical classics, instrumental paths and popular songs, the initiative has strengthened the role of music as a tool to welcome patients and collaborators.

According to the director, Rita de Cássia Cicareli Alfabet, since the beginning of the activities, the unit has served the entire population of the city and the nearby regions. “The institution consolidates its role in humanization, assistance and strengthens its commitment for the population,” he says.

In recent decades, IPIRANGA MOGI has also undergone renovations, has expanded infrastructure and services, as well as the technical training of the teams. “These actions save assistance and promote an adoption of postures and behaviors that stimulate cordiality between employees, patients and family members”, explains the doctor.
