Mato Grosso is far from the main doors. Part of the production follows the highway and the navigable route to northern ports, and another goes from a trailer to the train of Rondonópolis.

For five days, the report visited BR-163, the main flow path of the state. Of the 655 km between SynopIn the midwest and the rumo terminal in the south, 380 km are duplicate. With a daily traffic of 79 thousand vehicles – 60% of trucks -, according to the new Rota Do Oeste dealership, the congestion is miles.

Built in the 70s, the road still has long stretches on a simple track. From Diamantino to Lucas Do Rio Verde is already duplicate and the second track should reach 444 km by 2031.

Paraná Paulo Vattos, a truck driver for 25 years, took eight hours to travel 400 km between Diamantino and Rondonópolis with 38 tons of corn. Along the way, he left R $ 210 on Tolls. “I have already taken four days to download.”

Aprosoja and CNA defend Ferragrão, which would connect Sinop (MT) to Miritraba (PA), with 933 km and three terminals, reducing the logistical cost of 20% – $ 8 billion per year – and satisfying the future production of 144 million tons by 2034.

The Ministry of Transport sent his studies to National Land Transportation Agency (ant)which will then follow the Federal Court of Auctor (TCU) and rods. The folder also focuses the Fi-Fiol corridor, 1,708 km, in the final changes for the analysis, but without expiry for operation.
