Attention! The following contains spoilers for the Older brother live streaming starting Thursday 11 August. Read at your own risk!
Older brother Season 24 said goodbye to Daniel Durston at the end of week 5, so we got into the judgment part of the game. Any remaining Houseguest is guaranteed to be here long-term, and the next few weeks will determine whether it will happen in the jury or always in play. Week 6 is going to be important for the lines drawn on alliances, but will anyone turn things around to help her game?
Gossipify follows in-game events live streaming with our Paramount + subscription and we have the results from this week’s Head of the Family Endurance contest. Here’s who won and who you can target next week.
Taylor is the breadwinner of week 6
In what seems like something so incredible that it almost needs to be written, Taylor Hale won the endurance competition in week 6. Taylor went from being a lone guest in week 1 to the reason the Leftovers got together, but he hadn’t really done anything. . again to show the strength of him as a player. It is almost poetic that he has won the title of breadwinner after the departure of Daniel, his most ardent critic of him, proving that he finally feels comfortable playing and taking control of the game.
Who could name Taylor this week?
The options for Taylor’s nomination this week are going to be interesting because I think there’s a chance he’ll finally find his place in the game. While she is in The Leftovers alliance, I don’t see her as a very high member of the ladder. Now it could be a great opportunity for her to reach out to players who realize they are missing out and strike some side deals to strengthen her position in the game.
That said, I think Taylor is still very aware of who hit her early in the game and who might still be. Assuming that’s the case, I could see Indy Santos and Jasmine Davis as nominees this week. They aren’t the biggest threat to The Leftovers right now, but they are definitely people who would attack Taylor if they were in his stead.
One thing I really don’t see happening is that Taylor names a member of The Leftovers alliance. Activating her pact wouldn’t really benefit her and would make her an easy target if she were the one to blow up by naming a member. Unless everyone is planning to release someone as half of the Kyle Capener and Alyssa Snider show, I don’t see a member of The Leftovers leaving this week. We’ll just have to wait and see, though, because Taylor hasn’t really had a chance to play, so she could hit us all with some twisty nominations.
Older brother aired on CBS (opens in a new tab) Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Taylor’s HOH week should be great live streaming material, so maybe it’s time to get that subscription to Paramount +.
