F1 Academy: Maya Weg wins home and will rekindle the dispute for the title


Dominating the race from one end to another, Maya wins without difficulty. Alisha Palmowski and Doriane Pin complete the podium




In the early hours of Sunday (31), the fifth phase of the F1 Academy was held, this time at the GP of Holland. Maya Weg was the winner, completing the race from end to End, without facing many threats. The day before, the Dutch Nina Gademan, the first race won the first race. A very happy weekend for local fans.

Weg’s dominant victory, in competition at home, marks his second result in the season, approaching Doriana and rekindling his dispute for the title. With the result, Maya reduced the difference, reaching 105 points and the pin is 127.

How it was the race

The race began with problems for the Chamber of Chloe, whose car was on the grill during the return of the presentation. Chloe was in the second classified of the championship. Lia Block, in turn, almost started in the position of the room, but returned to his original grid to be notified. However, in the end he received a penalty of ten seconds.

Maya started very well, with Ella Lloyd who took over and pressing the leader, still on the first lap, while he is also pressed by Alisha Palmowski. Doriane Pin is advanced in fourth place and started playing Palmowski for positions. Some laps later, in the first corner, Nicole Havrda ridden in front of Aurelia Nobels, but both managed to return to the test without further consequences.

At a strong rhythm, Weg moved away from the opponents, opening even more than six seconds to Ella Lloyd, who could not approach the leader and had yet to defend his position from Palmowski. Also presented for Kosterman, who ended in seventh place, guaranteeing the best result of a Jolly driver this season.

During the race, the race commission warned that they would analyze the beginning of Lloyd, who could have moved before the lights were faded, characterizing an initial burning. Subsequently, the British were punished five seconds in the final result.

Maya Weg, Alisha Palmowski, Dorian Pin, Ella Lloyd, Tina Hausmann, Nina Gademan, Esmee Kosterman, Rafaela Ferreira, Alba Larsen and Chloe Chong were the first ten places. The Brazilian Aurelia Nobels was the tenth fourth.

The next phase of the F1 Academy will be held at the Singapore GP between 3 and 5 October.
