Paramount Skydance has signed an agreement with Activision Blizzard controlled by Microsoft to adapt the “Call of Duty” video game franchise to a live action function, said the media company on Tuesday.
Paramount and Activision have honored the “rich narrative and distinct style” of the brand for fans of the video game franchise.
“We are facing this film with the same disciplined and uncompromising commitment for the excellence that led our work in Top Gun: Maverick,” said the manager of Paramount, David Ellison.
Published by Activision, “Call of Duty” is one of the most popular video games in the world. He has sold 500 million copies all over the world and is one of the bestsellers in the United States every year.
