The closing ceremony of the 82nd Venice Festival took place this Saturday, August 6, and was attended by Fernanda Torres at the jury
The jury of the 82nd Venice Film Festival elected Father Mother Sister Brotherfrom Jim Jarmusch (Paterson), as the great winner of the Gold lion. Among the members of the jury was the Brazilian FERNANDA TORRES (I’m still here).
The decision was controversial after theories of a crack in the jury were spread over the internet. The other quoted to the maximum prize, The Voice of Hind Rajabfrom Kaouther Ben Haniawon the Jury Grand Prix, the second main festival.

During the ceremony, the Brazilian FERNANDA TORRES delivered the Coppa Volpi Award for Best Actor to Toni servillofor its performance in La Grazia. In his speech, the actor commented: “I couldn’t imagine that it would be awarded an actress who enchanted me this year with a wonderful movie“, in reference to Fernanda’s performance in I’m still here. - Silver Lion – Best Direction: Benny Safdie, for The Smashing Machine
- Silver Leo – Jury Grand Prix: The Voice of Hind Rajabby Kaouther Ben Hania
- Gold lion:Father Mother Sister Brotherby Jim Jarmusch
