After OnlyFans debacle, Denise Richards opens up that Charlie Sheen’s divorce is “much worse” than previously thought

Denise Richards has been busy as ever with her television career in recent years, with roles in The bold and the cute to the next financial TV series paper empire to no less than two Lifetime Original films involving cheerleaders in violent situations. (Not to mention her short but full of drama real housewives run .) But there was no cast when the actress garnered a lot of attention earlier this year subscribe to the OnlyFans social site after she and Charlie Sheen’s daughter for the first time caused a stir with their profile on the subscription platform. Now, with all this back and forth in the past, Richards has pondered the difficult journey of his very public divorce from her ex. two men and a half Star.

Appearing in the podcast divorced not dead Introduced by Caroline Stanbury, Denise Richards was asked if she felt comfortable talking about what broke up her marriage to Charlie Sheen, and the actress began by saying:

how disgusting. Well, a lot of things. [Laughs.] Of course, I don’t regret my marriage to Charlie, because I truly believe he and I were together to have our daughters. I feel like it was not a good marriage and a good relationship. I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant which was very difficult. I didn’t realize the impact of how public it was going to be and how it would personally affect my career. Why did I think, this is my personal life, why does this affect my professional life? I think I made headlines in the tabloids for about two consecutive years during that time, and it was incredibly difficult. I also dealt with my mother who was very ill and she eventually died. And I had these two children.

There, Denise Richards made it clear that despite all the hardships, stress and other bad feelings that came with her separation from Charlie Sheen, the fact that they created beautiful and loving children together is enough to justify the hardest times. Of course, that point of view was probably easier to understand in hindsight then, since she Richards was still pregnant with their second daughter, Lola Rose, at the time she filed for divorce. (Which was later followed by the filing of a restraining order against Sheen, with alleged death threats against her as her impulse.)

With all the added mental struggles of pregnancy hormones and having a sick mother, Denise Richards would be in a tough spot now with no divorce issues, or even fairly traditional divorce issues. Unfortunately, her separation from Charlie Sheen was as messy as it sounds, and it happened a few years earlier. his controversial departure from two men and a half and all problem behaviors (e accusatory comments ) that came before and after. And so, with everything so wide open at that moment, Richards explained how his instinct at that moment was to withdraw into himself, saying:

It was really very difficult for me and I really had to get into a bubble. Because I think a lot of women and men have to do with this, and I could have gone either way until I was in a dark space. I have a strong family unit around me and I was like, ‘You know what? I am going to block out the noise, and it is actually a lesson for me to learn to be my true authentic self and to be myself. And it was the first time in my life that I got a bad press, and I had stuff there, and people said I was trying to break down: Charlie was in Two and a Half Men, he had a great show. He was really awful and things behind the scenes were a lot worse than what was going on.

As ridiculous and exaggerated as the tabloid reports may be, there is often some truth to the claims, but those stories apparently don’t support what was really going on between Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen. Of course, the actress had no painful memories at the time, as she probably spent years trying to compartmentalize those complicated emotions and memories.

Eventually, Denise Richards turned to her instinct, which was to divert all the negativity of this situation away from her children and others. She continued to ponder how fans can sympathize with this difficult time in her life, even if other people’s problems don’t compare to her divorce that sparked rumors of her. In her words:

I just had to protect, after all, who is really there: my family and my children. And I think that’s what got me through the first part of the divorce. But over the years my relationship with Charlie has evolved, and there was a time when I had his children for over a year from a previous marriage where he had children with this woman who struggled with certain. what’s this. You know, I’m a family girl and just wanted to keep the peace with the kids. The hardest part: thank God my children were very young and couldn’t read or hear certain things. But many people couldn’t relate to divorcing someone and even being in the public eye; they can’t relate to that, but they can relate to the feelings of how it is when your life is falling apart and falling apart, and you’re trying to get yourself back together.

While it may not have been the easiest way to go, Denise Richards has certainly come a long way since finalizing her divorce from Charlie Sheen in 2006. And while she still has some underlying feelings about it, she said earlier. it was this division that prompted her to join the real housewives franchising “Apparently Richards and his daughters are as good as ever.
