THE Flip (International Paraty Literary Party) announced that the 24th edition of the event, scheduled for June and August 2026, will have Rita Palmeira as a curator.
Mauro MunhozArtistic director of Flip, he spoke of the choice. “The invitation to Rita Palmeira consolidates her professional partnership with Flip, which began through exciting and stimulating mediations between some of the most relevant names in contemporary literature,” he said.
He added: “Rita has a solid career in the literary environment. He has developed a very attentive and attentive job to the current scenario of literature in Brazil and all over the world. This performance, he added to his vast experience and training, reveals his ability to dialogue the various sensitivity of reading”.
Publisher and literary critic, PhD in Brazilian literature at the USP (University of San Paolo) and Master in Literary theory of Unicamp, acts as a mediator in the events tables since 2017, having participated in eight different editions of Flip.
“The arrival of a new literary curative is always an important step in the construction of the party. It is a moment of renewal of ideas and prospects for the flip team and also for the next editions,” concluded Munhoz.
