Po, the most beloved panda in animation, is back. DreamWorks Animation has confirmed the release date of Kung Fu Panda 4 for March 8, 2024.
The new feature does not yet have a synopsis available or cast defined. However, that doesn’t stop us hoping that Jack Black will return as the English voice actor for the character.

If you don’t remember – it’s been almost 15 years after all – Kung Fu Panda tells the story of Po, a clumsy panda with a huge heart. Furthermore, the animal’s love of kung fu is matched only by its insatiable appetite.
In all, the first three films in the franchise have grossed over $ 1.8 billion worldwide. The success made Kung Fu Panda the studio’s highest-grossing original animation.
With this success, the franchise has expanded into toys, video games, an Emmy-winning television series (“Kung Fu Panda: Legends of the Dragon Warrior,” which aired between 2011 and 2016) and even park attractions in theme.
Currently, the panda and his fellow wrestlers can be seen in the new Netflix series, released in July this year. The cast includes names like Jack Black, Rita Ora, and James Hong.
Called “Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight”, the series reunites Po and an English knight with the aim of recovering magical weapons, restoring the panda’s reputation and, moreover, saving the world.
