Misunderstanding

Urgent projects can be voted directly in the plenary, without passing in front of the committees of the room.

The mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), said that a speaker will be appointed Thursday (18) to present the version of a text that finds the support of the majority of the house. According to Motta, there are distinct visions and divergent interests for the events of January 8, 2023 and therefore it will be up to the plenary to decide.

Motta explained that he will try to build a text with the future speaker who brings pacification to the country.

“I am convinced that the Chamber will be able to build this solution that seeks national pacification, respect for institutions, commitment for legality and also taking into account the humanitarian conditions of the people involved in this matter. It is not a question of eraseing the past, but of allowing this to be reconciled and the future has based on dialogue and respect for the Foundation,” he said.
