‘The Wilds’: trailer and release date of the second season

Survival continues, now with a new desert island and more characters that promise to expand the mysteries of the Amazon Prime Video series.

The second season of ‘The Wilds’ will arrive on May 6 on Amazon Prime Video. This has been confirmed from the platform, where the series created by Sarah Streicher will return to continue the story exactly where they left off in December 2020, when the first season premiered. In addition, there is already an official trailer to whet your appetite.

If we remember, in the first season of ‘The Wilds’ we met a group of teenagers from different backgrounds who must fight to survive on a desert island after suffering a plane crash. Little by little the mysteries of their situation are revealed, but they also get to know each other better and share their secrets and their darkest traumas. They will soon discover that their dramatic situation on that island is part of a complex social experiment and its label is ‘Project Eva’.

Made up of eight episodes, the second season continues to explore this experiment with new characters: a group of boys who, like the protagonists, have also been shipwrecked on a desert island and they are the object of this macabre project, in his case with the label of ‘Project Adam’. They too will have to fight for their survival while others pull the strings from the shadows.

In this season, as we pointed out before, a group of young boys joins who will be played by Zack Calderon (Rafael Garcia), Aidan Laprete (Henry Tanaka), Nicholas Coombe (Josh Herbert), Charles Alexander (Kirin O’Conner), Miles Gutierrez-Riley (Ivan Taylor), Reed Shannon (Scotty Simms), Tanner Ray Rook (Bo Leonard) and Alex Fitzalan (Seth Novak). We also look forward to the return of Rachel Griffiths as Gretchen, the former college professor who has planned part of the experiment.
