Another day of competition from the third stadium of Banco DO Brasil Circuit de Surf 2025 is over and, with it, the disputes for the title of Praia da Vila, in Impbituba (SC) taught “the last day”. The surf sessions started at 9 am on Saturday morning, with the Fine Fine Round. 8 of the 16 athletes passed to Wednesday in electrifying batteries.
In the first battery, Brianna Barthelmess Peruviana and Maria Eduarda Cesar advanced. In the second, Silvana Lima – with the highest female degree of the session – and Laura Raupp.
So, in the same battery, the Peruva Catalina Zarquiey and Daniella Rosas were classified. Finally, the last battery of the octaves obtained the classification of Alexia Monteiro and Tainá Hinckel.
In the late afternoon, the women were facing each other again for the quarter -finals, with two surfers in every drum: Laura Raupp immediately eliminated Brianna Barthelmess and Silvana Lima sent Maria Eduarda Cesar.
Already in the last two batteries of the day, Catalina Zarquiey has achieved its greatest result in the season and eliminated none other than Tainá Hinckel, the leader of the South American ranking. In the late afternoon that marked the Peruvian triumph, Daniella Rosas beat Alexia Monteiro. Female disputes return to next Sunday 21.
Fall of the favorites among men
In the men’s tournament, the day was also marked by narrow definitions and the falls of some of the main names of the competition. In the first battery, the veteran Jadson André and Caio Costa advanced on Mateus Herdy, classifying the vice-law and Patrick Plachi.

In the third, Samuel Popo “sold” his older brother and qualified on Wednesday with Lucas Haag, eliminating Daniel Templar and Ryan Kainalo. Surf of Legends and “New Waves”
Outside the competition, on Saturday in Vila Beach it was marked by many emotions with a special battery, which involved big names in Brazilian surfing: Jacqueline Silva, Renan Rocha, Pereira, Fábio Carvalho and Michell Peninha, mayor of Impbituba.
The group was widely celebrated by the fans who accompanied the tournament of the Vila Beach sand strip. The broadcast, shown from the ground, also dedicated part of the day to the celebration of the event.
After the battery, who had no winners, Michell Peninha spoke of the importance of the return of an international surf tournament to Vila Beach.
The new generations of athletes have also been celebrated in the competition with the “Novas Waves” program by WSL, who received 25 children for a chat with the surfers Jadson André, Sophia Gonçalves and Lucas Costa. Young people also gave the first surfers.
