The debate on the fact that a person is more productive at home or in the office was constant since companies insisted on reporting employees in the offices after years of telework. There are also experts who claim to see the most polarized debate than ever.
A new study stresses that remote work damages workers compared to those who go to the office. And the reason is simple: “Employees who are not physically close to their garments (or who do not live in the same city as headquarters) are making fewer opportunities. Not because they have performed more lower than expected, but because they have become less visible”.
A study by Deel, a global human resources platform, stressed that a third of workers in Europe claims to worry that the physical distance is damaging their careers. Many young professionals choose to go to the offices for this reason.
