On Monday Russia accused the NATO member of Estonia to falsely affirm that three Russian military jets violated their airspace for 12 minutes on Friday, saying that Tallinn was trying to create an atmosphere of comparison.
On Friday Estonia said that three Russian Mig-31 fighters entered Estonian airspace without permission and remained for a total of 12 minutes before being forced to retire.
When asked about this statement, the Cremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow had not heard of Estonia to say that he had evidence to support his accusation.
Russian pilots have always operated according to international law, he added.
