Japanese group Otoboke Beaver will perform not only at a Weezer led festival, but also on a solo date at Cine Joia, in São Paulo
The Japanese band Otoboke Beaver confirmed another show in Brazil. Besides being cast for a kind of festival with Weezer, Block party, MOGWAI and Judeline In Ibirapuera Park, on November 2, the group will play at Cine Joia, two days earlier, on October 31. The two performances take place in São Paulo.
Formed in Kyoto and composed of ACCORINRIN (guitar and vocal), Yoyoyoshie (guitar and vocal), Hirochan (low and vocal) and Kahokiss (battery and vocal), the female quartet has been responsible for opening performances Jack White (ex-White Stripes), Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band’s rise also placed it on the lineups of the world’s leading music festivals, such as Coachella (USA), Glastonbury (United Kingdom) and Lollapalooza (USA).
Dave Grohlvocalist of Foo Fightersfor example, refers to the band as “the most intense thing you have ever seen” and has had her participation in the opening of her shows.
The production of events is part of the project Indigocurator seal focused on indie sounds of 30E. Tickets for the solo show at Cine Joia are beginning to be sold on Thursday (25), at noon, in Eventim.
