What did the first viewer think?
With 57 note and 13 criticism on Allo Ciné, the film collects a note of 5 to 2.6.
The originality of the story and the brilliant interpretations of the actors’ duo
Themes that combine art and science with the packaging of symbolism have seduced many viewers who have fully defended the world of the film, which is played by Camille Kotin and Roman Durisi.
Linda75 (5/5): “I loved the movie, annoying and original. The actors are incredible, Camila Kotin is incredibly incarnate this woman. To have !!!“
Herve Smadja (5/5): “Interesting film on Whistleblowers. Camila Kotin and Roman Durris play perfectly.“
Dominic M (4.5): “A strong and disturbing film that bothered me. Politics, poetic, ecological, the film also questions the couple and searches for a man’s love for his wife, who changes, transforms, blows her and loses her land.“
Heavy dialogues and sometimes muddy stories
Several viewers point out that in the story and editing serves the film, and recognizes the originality of themes.
Jipéhel (3/5): “(…) Camilla Cotine is best in shape and is very convincing. Roman Duris, who begins to specialize in the roles of fragile and somewhat outdated men, makes us “Duris” … which is not bad. Céleste brunquel, as always magnetic, and denis brothers and bruno podalydès, who rarely find the camera on the same side, performing the top of the poster. Now, we have conducted a wonderful scientific thriller -a kind of species there, if any -so why did you want slow and artificial dramatic literature? Today it is not yet that we will penetrate the secrecy of the screenwriter’s brain. Believe me, this is much more difficult than nuclear and its drift. Frustration!”
Valvie75 (2/5): “Very frustrated. I was thrilled. All of these scenes where the male character tries to understand that heroin looks like a long time. So I don’t see the link to Rembrandt. The idea of taking the risks associated with climate change is good, but why did you mix it with catastrophic comments on the nucleus?“
Stef L. (2.5/5): ” Confusion message. An clumsy film, where nuclear risk, global warming, art and love history are mixed … In short, a rather raw cocktail, an inconsistent story that leaves uncomfortable and a little boring.“
Killian (1.5/5): “Rembrandt is a movie proposal, a proposal that unfortunately did not like, despite such promising casting and some good scenarios. But the weakness of the dialogues spoils everything. “
Clem Lepic (1/5): “It is difficult to get into this film, the parallel is not very clear between the bright Rembrandt canvas between exhibition and nuclear research in London. Lengths. Without great interest.“
