‘Ideal guy’ gathers unpublished tracks, collaborations with Johnny Hooker and Azzy and dives into a sincere self -analysis

The singer and composer of Minas Gerais Lucas Pretti released his first album, Ideal face (2025), in September 16. The project consolidates the trajectory of Pretti and inaugurates a new phase in his career.

The disk acts as a “pop confessional”, in which Lucas It builds an intimate portrait of yourself, assuming failures, contradictions and desires throughout the nine songs. The work is structured around its defects and its conception of what it means to be an “ideal face” and a man.

Ideal facein the end, it is an artistic surrender and a sincere invitation of the Lucas Pretti to the public to know who he really is. The album fulfills the mission of introducing Lucas In a new phase at the same time it reflects the artist’s personal journey and his newly discovered pride, even with the defects. Below, see the track the track in the artist’s own words:

I speak too much

“The first single and track 01 of the album was also the first to be written. Starting the album with a little pop-rock, she served as a preview of the album’s self-reflexive theme and started everything with the first sentence ‘open the curtains, which my show will start’.”

FALO & DREAT

“I love that succeeding I speak too much, we have a phallus & disabilities, pointing to my recurring contradictions (Gemini) and indirectly already warning the listener that what is said in the album should be taken with a little flexibility.”

Selfish

“Selfish was a very fun track to produce, not only because I always wanted to introduce a little tackle in my music (I’m in love with the Viradinha before the selfish chorus), but also with the amazing company of Johnny and Azzy. I’m a man of few feats for now, so having the opportunity to work with two artists I admire so much and who bought so much my vision was really special.”

Rascal

“Naughty is another surprising partnership in this album. Funk plays a key role when it comes to Brazilian popular music, and since I was going to venture on these sides, I was lucky enough to be accompanied by Gabriel, which is a great reference when it comes to the genre.”

GPS

“GPS was a big unknown at the time of production. We thought of several creative paths for her, but finally we decided to explore a more Latin rhythm. I always loved the backed guitars.”

I must hate

“I must hate myself was composed more to the end of the album process, and I knew we needed a more dramatic and dense song. We wrote a little more retro, but at the time of production we gave it a modernized and the result is one of my favorite tracks.”

Slices

“In slices I explore the impermanence of our being as an integral object, and detached me from parts of me that are left behind and no longer belong to my life. I wanted it to be an easy to listen and reflect on, so we kept the very simple and acoustic production in this track.”

Any bid

“My moment popscar [risos]! I think she is such a young, solar, lively and dancing song. For me this is the most classically ‘pop’ song, both in production and in the composition that brings a continuous metaphor about not accepting less than you deserve. I used a reference from Sex and the City to compose her, when Charlotte tells Trey’s mother that she is worth a million when it comes to signing the prenuptial. ”

Ideal face

“What about the title track, besides being her number 1 fan. It was the last to be written, and I and Barbara Dias wrote her in less than 2 hours. I wanted to summarize the album somewhat grand and surprising. The song becomes the last 45 of the second half, but she closes the album with excitement, mess, and fireworks!”
