The Brazilian guarantees his second pole in LMGT3; Cadillac doubles among the hypercars with Alex Lynn forward with the car n. 12
It comes from Brazil! Eduardo Barrichello won, at dawn Saturday (27), the position of the pole for the 6 AM Fuji – the hundredth race in the history of the World Endurance Championship – in the LMGT3 class. Among the hypercars, Cadillac got the best with a double, with Alex Lynn who ensured the first place for the car no. 12.
The result marked the second pole position by Dudu Barrichello in his debut season. Already Augusto Farfus, another Brazilian on the grid, will start from the 14th position with BMW #31.
The 100th start WEC takes place on Saturday, at 23h (Brasilia time).

The class hyperpolo started at 2:30 in the morning (Brasilia) with 18 cars, but only 10 advanced. The two lexus, the Mercedes #22 and #60 of Iron Lynx, the BMW – including #31 Augusto Farfus – and Ford #77 were excluded.
The dispute was intense among the postulants at the title of the season, with Porsche #92 and McLarens alternating in the head. In the last few minutes, Dudu has dug the best lap and has secured his second pole in three attempts.

The first part of the training has already shown Fuji’s balance: only 1S160 separated the last place, the Porsche #99 of the leader, the Aston Martin #009 of the heart of the races.
Running at home, Toyota #8 went to the final phase, while the n. 7 was coming. In the struggle of the title, the Ferrari #51 and #83 are advanced, but Porsche #6 – third in the table – did not qualify.
They remained out in the first step: Aston Martin #007, Peugeot #84 (by Stoffel Vandoorne, in his last team race), BMW #15, Toyota #7, Ferrari #50, Alpine #38, Porsches more #6 and #99. Only Cadillac managed to bring both cars to the hyperpole.
In the decisive phase, the times fell even more. Cadillac #12 took the end of the last moments, under pressure from Aston Martin #008 – in his best classification of the year – and by Peugeot #93.
With 1S009 that separates the first from the last, Lynn confirmed the Cadillac #12 pole in the historic 100A WEC race.
