
“Minions 2: The Rise of Gru” remains the most watched movie in Brazilian theaters for the fourth consecutive weekend, according to a Comscore poll. A month and a half ago, the film had 126,000 admissions and raised R $ 2.41 million between Thursday and Sunday (14/8). Since its release on June 30, it has missed the top of the box only twice, in the early days of “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
The Top 3 remained completely unchanged from last week, with “Thor: Amor e Trovão” (107,100 admissions and R $ 2.15 million) and “Bullet Train” (95,500 people and R $ 2.15 million). 2.12 million at the box office) in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
The thriller “The Beast” starring Idris Elba was the fourth most viewed film in the week’s premieres, with 82,000 admissions and revenues of R $ 1.61 million. The national comedy “Papai É Pop”, starring Lázaro Ramos, opened in last place in the Top 10, eliminating “O Palestrante” from the charts in the second week of performance. In the first, the comedy with Fábio Porchat and Dani Calabresa occupied the seventh position.
