Several people were injured in a blow to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Saints of this last day in Grand Blanc, in Michigan, and the church is on fire, said the local police on Sunday.
The smoke came out of the building while the firefighters fought fire with water jets and fire trucks and emergency vehicles were parked nearby, showed a video on social networks.
“There are several victims and the shooter has been demolished. There is no threat to the public right now. The church is on fire,” said the police department of Grand Blanc Township in a Facebook post, asking people to avoid the area.
Other details were not immediately available.
The Church of Jesus Christ of the Saints of the last few days is informally known as the Mormon Church.
Grand Blanc, a city of 7,700 inhabitants, is located about 97 km north -west of Detroit.
